
After 30 years in the City working for various global financial institutions, Mark left the corporate world in the summer of 2016, deciding that he wanted to work within the property development industry. Mark firmly believes that the Supported Living Gateway will help simplify and improve the way that supported living providers work with property owners. Mark is proud to be part of The Gateway team and knows that they will make a difference by helping create homes for those who need them most.
With over 30 years of experience in the construction industry, Russ has successfully delivered a range of residential and commercial schemes. He has a diverse property portfolio across several sectors including BTLs, serviced accommodation, social housing, and supported living. Over the last 6 years, Russ has worked closely with care providers, housing associations and local authorities to ensure quality, sustainable supported living accommodation that improves the lives of those who need it.
After 20 years working in the financial services sector in the City, Leah has recently given up her City career to become a full-time property investor. Leah’s background in coordinating, organising and structuring projects has helped underpin the Supported Living Gateway business. She is excited to see how the team’s combined and diverse experience will enable The Gateway to help the supported living community.
Richard founded The Gateway along with the Mark, Russ and Leah. He is now a non-executive director of the company. Richard is an advocate for Supported Living Gateway and hopes, with our help, the whole supported living sector will benefit from improved communications and smoother relations between providers and developers.
Richard was a Military Officer, helicopter and jet pilot for 21 years, before becoming a successful property investor and developer. He is a firm supporter of the eradication of homelessness within the ex-service and veterans’ community and has a passion for providing homes for people across a spectrum of needs.
Jan started her career in property over 20 years ago as a client account manager. This role involved overseeing all aspects of client accounting in compliance with RICS regulations. She later moved into property management as operations manager for a large national letting agent.
She is an integral part of the Gateway team, getting property owners and care providers together. Jan helps from that initial call, right the way through to successful completion, helping both sides reach an amicable outcome.
Abby manages all the business administration behind the Gateway and has been with the team since the launch in 2020. She holds a bachelor of science in office administration.
